Bodies - Royal Court Theatre | Stage Film Director
Middle-class British couple Clem and Josh have yearned for a baby for years and, as a last resort, are attempting surrogacy through an international agency. Clem's father David, who suffers from motor neurone disease highly disapproves. As she outsources his care to an immigrant nurse, Clem is haunted by the human cost of her actions.
On stage film reveals intermittent projections of Clem's fraught imagination and four filmed sequences conclude the play (her father David in his flat with his carer above in the first still).
